Based on the Storyboard by the Nuremberg-based agency Schultze, Walther & Zahel, Naumann Film shot the four scenes entirely on original locations in Franconia’s most beautiful scenery: On the river Wiesent, on Vogelsburg Monastery and its vineyards, and underneath Castle Rabeneck in September 2011. The post-production was conducted by Naumann Film.
