On May 27, 1847 - ie 175 years ago - a group of shipowners and merchants in Hamburg founded the Hamburg-American Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (Hapag). Today Hapag-Lloyd is the fifth largest container liner shipping company in the world and the largest shipping company in Germany.

Naumann Film produced the anniversary film over 7 days of shooting in Hamburg, New York and Singapore. In addition to several cameras and drones, a helicopter and complex CGI were also used.
